To understand the party, just follow the hatreds, writes Chip Le Grand

Battin helped the agreement and voted at the Administrative Council.

This section says everything you need to know about the permanent power of liberal party hatred. If someone could benefit from the will of the patient, and the courses between Pesutto and Pesutto would have sufficient renewable energy to stop burning Victoria fossil fuels.

When the Liberal Party was ruled by the same, cable instinct to win elections, Battin’s better use of Pesutto’s policy nos and appeal to moderate voters.

If you follow the hatred, it will stay in Pesutto backbench.

Within the Liberal Party, there is an increasing pressure for Battin to review all the shadow portfolios of O’Brien and Hodgett’s pending retirees and use the opportunity to create an election year to reshape the team.

Battin’s current series rewarded those who supported leadership ambitions in the last year’s Christmas coup, so far it has not produced the width or depth of the policy required to offer a challenging case for change.

Liberal MP Jess Wilson did not play politics in the Christmas coup of the party, but it continues to be the best economic brain of the liberals.

Battin is strong in crime and community security, but his party’s economic narrative is weak and underdeveloped. We have not yet seen if there was a reliable plan to retire the debt to retire the debt to retire the debt to retire the debt to repair the commercial taxes that reduce the financial position of Victoria’s financial position and to reduce critical services.

A point for Battin in any ministry change is whether the most economical literacy deputy is the right job of Jess Wilson.

Wilson played politics badly in Christmas coup and had the opportunity to serve as Battin’s leader and shadow. Instead, this portfolio went to James Newbury, a deputy who cleverly playing politics, left Wilson behind and helped Battin’s leadership to secure the leadership.

A scenario proposed by Wilson’s supporters is that Newbury’s Shadow Attorney General and the party to be a shadow to Wilson, a spokesman for education, industry and economic growth. Another is that Wilson is a financial spokesman, a portfolio organized by Bridget Vallance.

Theoretically, these ideas have some value. Before Wilson entered the parliament, he became the administrator responsible for the Australian Business Council’s energy, climate, tax, infrastructure and digital security policies. Newbury is a lawyer who will serve as a chief prosecutor, despite his investment in Shadow Treasurer portfolio.

In practice, if the party leader refuses to interact with economic and financial issues, it is not important who is a shadow. Battin, a former police, is the most comfortable talking about crime and community security. Opposition deputies, including some of the senior portfolios, are disappointed that they see as a myopic obsession with law and order.

“It is not easy to say that we have to change the shadow minister,” a deputy said. “This is not the problem. The problem is the stable focus of the top who believes that the crime is the only thing worth talking about.”

Battin, for now, keeps any change of change. Follow the hatred to predict which direction it will go.

Abandoning Newbury as a shadow treasurer will require more than the skillful navigation of internal hostilities. Among the supporters of Newbury and Wilson, the whole hell would relax.

If he manages to accept and infuriate Newbury in a single change, in a single change – only the united deputies united with the hatred they have for each other – fires that consume Pesutto’s leadership can legitimize very well on their own.
