England: BBC Sport pundits choose World Cup XIs – who would you pick?

Jordan Pickford is an easy choice as a goalkeeper. If he’s fully fit I’d start Reece James.
I would prefer John Stones over Ezri Konsa, although Konsa is really reliable. In international football I believe Stones can direct the ball and if we need to keep the ball in play he can certainly do that.
Guehi’s beginning is revealing. He performed excellently at Crystal Palace and Manchester City this season. Left-back Nico O’Reilly. I know Djed Spence started in the friendly against New Zealand but if I had to choose one it would definitely be O’Reilly.
Elliot Anderson and Declan Rice – as pretty much everyone expected. I like Anderson because he can initiate attacks too. I know he is there to break up the play but when he plays the ball over the lines he plays with really good quality.
Rice, we all know why you started. Jude Bellingham, I would start him at number 10 ahead of Morgan Rogers because he is a big game player. I think he is a real superstar. I think there are two real stars in him and Harry Kane.
I would prefer Marcus Rashford over Anthony Gordon, but there wouldn’t be any harm in putting Rogers in there too.
Bukayo Saka speaks for himself and then Harry Kane comes clean.
