Erling Haaland leads party-goers in Norway’s iconic rowing celebration as he joins Man City stars at team-mate’s glamorous Italian wedding

Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma married his childhood sweetheart yesterday at a lavish reception attended by his City teammates.

Erling Haaland was among the guests in Fasano, southern Italy, where he was joined by his partner Isabel Haugseng Johansen.

The Norwegian star, who gathered a new army of fans at the World Cup, chose a black suit, bow tie and sunglasses while walking happily hand in hand with Johansen.

He was later seen leading a group of guests in recreating Norway’s iconic ‘rowing’ celebration at the tournament in North America.

City midfielder Mateo Kovacic was also photographed at the wedding. It was stated that Italian football legend Paolo Maldini, former City boss Pep Guardiola and Sandro Tonali, who was newly transferred to Tottenham, were among the participants.

Donnarumma and interior designer Elefante have been together for 10 years

Donnarumma, 27, married his longtime partner, interior designer Alessia Elefante, 28.

The couple had been together for 10 years, having met in their hometown of Castellammare di Stabia, near Naples.

They also have a son named Leo, born in 2024. The couple announced their engagement in May with a post on Instagram that read: ‘Long-term contract signed.’

They were married at the Saint George Martyr Church in the hill town of Locorotondo before joining the revelers in Fasano.

Haaland definitely enjoyed the night; partygoers excitedly beat the drums while imitating rowing, replicating the post-match celebration made famous by Haaland and his teammates during their impressive World Cup campaign.

The 26-year-old player is enjoying his break after the tournament by holidaying in Italy with Johansen this week.
