Going on holiday abroad is an exciting experience, but the process of getting to your destination can actually be a bit stressful.
While packing, getting to the airport, and queuing for security are all issues, passengers also need to be aware of strict airline policies when it comes to taking certain items on board, including food and drink. Budget airlines such as TUI, easyJet, Ryanair and Jet2 are popular choices for passengers, and although they sell drinks and snacks on board during flights, each airline has its own rules about what passengers can bring on the flight. All four carriers prohibit the consumption of alcohol that passengers bring on board from outside the aircraft, and strict rules apply to other food and beverage items as well.
So if you’re going abroad for the February half-term break or have a holiday towards the end of this year, these are all the banned foods and drinks on TUI, easyJet, Ryanair and Jet2 flights you need to know.
