Aaron Rodgers ready to put Bears rivalry behind him

Aaron Rodgers will visit Chicago for the first time since 2022, but just like the old days, he’ll still be the most hated man in the building.
The 41-year-old, of course, was the Bears’ arch-rival as the Green Bay Packers’ starting quarterback for 15 seasons and had a 25-5 record against them, including the playoffs.
Rodgers claimed he “still owns it” in 2021.[ed]” The Bears are certainly a non-negotiable. But now he’s ready to leave the competition behind as an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“I’d rather not be [the villain]. I’m not in Green Bay anymore. I feel like we can let bygones be bygones. Maybe. “I think I can do it,” Rodgers told reporters on Wednesday. “It’s a big rivalry. I mean, in the history of all sports, you talk about: [Los Angeles] Lakers and [Boston] Celtics and [Boston] Red Sox and [New York] Yankees. You should talk about the Packers and Bears. And there were so many good memories there.”
But Rodgers did another investigation.

“When I first came to Green Bay, the Bears held the all-time series lead. When I left, the Packers had it,” he said. “Since then [Jordan Love] took over and even got better.
“But I hope the fans can put this behind them. I’m sure they can’t. Don’t expect that. But I really enjoy the city. They have great sports.”
Rodgers had a 109.0 passer rating with 6,965 yards, 64 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 29 regular season games against Chicago. In his lone playoff game against his former NFC North rival, the NFC Championship before his Super Bowl XLV victory, Rodgers threw for 244 yards and rushed for a touchdown in the 21-14 victory.
