Gaza ceasefire cracks appear; Trump demands Hamas return dead hostage bodies; Instagram limits content to teens
Speaking to Melbourne’s 3AW this morning, One Nation’s Pauline Hanson called for Palestinian visa holders in Australia to be sent home, claiming there was “no reason for them to stay in Australia”.
“The peace agreement has been signed and so there is no reason for them to stay in Australia. I have serious concerns about these people, because approximately 70 per cent of the population in Gaza supports Hamas, which is a terrorist organisation, which I believe is also a national security risk,” Hanson said.
Asked whether even Palestinians on tourist visas in Australia would be allowed to see out their remaining time here, Hanson stood firm in his insistence that they did not belong in Australia.

“ [Temporary Humanitarian Concern] The visa will allow them to stay in the country for up to three years. When I have to live in tents under bridges in Brisbane with people who can’t find housing here in Australia, with people living in cars, with families in their cars, with working people, I think it’s a shame.
“We don’t know who these people are that we’re bringing into the country and so, you know, the war is there, so I think they should be sent back,” he said.
Peace remains tenuous in Gaza This morning it was confirmed that Hamas fighters executed a group of men in Gaza Cityand Israel accuses the terrorist group of violating the ceasefire agreement by not returning the remains of dead hostages.
