Sholinganallur registers a massive jump in voter turnout compared to previous Assembly election

Sholinganallur, the largest Assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu in terms of number of voters, recorded a huge increase in voter turnout in this election compared to the previous election.

While the constituency recorded a turnout of 55% in 2021, provisional figures announced by election authorities this year stood at around 80.4%.
