Ex-Kerala MLA P.V. Anvar vows to ‘shave head’ if defeated in Assembly polls

United Democratic Front (UDF) candidate PV Anvar on Thursday, April 30, 2026, said that if he loses the Assembly election from Beypore constituency, I will “shave my head, wear earrings and roam the streets of Kozhikode”.

Mr Anvar, a former LDF MLA, challenged his rival and State Tourism Minister PA Mohamed Riyas to accept a similar dare if the May 4 poll result goes against him.
