Ex-Ohio State football player charged after man severely injured at gas station

Columbus, Ohio (WCMH) – According to the police, an old Ohio State footballer was arrested on Saturday morning after allegedly hit someone unconscious at a gas station.

Police, 34 -year -old Jordan L. Hall of Columbus, said that a person was arrested after being unconscious of blunt force trauma injuries and accused of the criminal attack.

Around 1 in the morning, a SUV was drawn to a Speedway gas station in 700 blocks of West Fifth Street. According to the court documents, Hall and another man came out of the vehicle and went to the gas station.

After returning to the vehicle, a man was allegedly seen in the supervision video that dragged a man out of his back passenger seat. Police said Hall had punched the man in his face. When the vehicle started to move away, suddenly stopped and Hall came out again and hit the victim twice.

According to the police, the victim toppled and hit his head on the ground. He was taken to a hospital in critical state.

Because of the seriousness of the victim’s injuries, the police said that the murder unit was investigated.

According to online court records, Hall is planned to be held at 09:00 on Monday.

Hall ran between 2009-2013 in the state of Ohio before signing with Pittsburgh Stelers. It was released before the normal season. Hall ran for 1,500 yard and 14 touches at Ohio State.
