Expert gives unusual verdict on Princess Charlotte and Louis’ future | Royal | News

Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are very popular young royals and often manage to steal the show at major royal events. While they may not be as prominent on the royal stage as their 12-year-old brother, Prince George, who will one day be king, they are certainly just as popular.
All three of the children are currently in full-time education, but a life working in the royal family may not be what comes next for the younger two. While George has a definitive royal role as heir to the throne, Charlotte and Louis’ futures are less certain.
While this may seem negative to some, a royal expert who formerly worked at the Palace believes it could mean Charlotte and Louis have more opportunities and could even mean they pursue careers outside the Firm.
Conversation with online learning platform Dog StudyFormer royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for the King when he was Prince of Wales between 2004 and 2011, said Prince William’s two youngest children could have their parents’ support if they wanted a job outside the monarchy.
He said: “I think they could pursue a career outside of being a full-time royal employee. I think that’s something their father and mother would support.”
“I think the days when royals are royals and have to do what other royals do will be gone.
“I think if Charlotte turned to her father and said, ‘You know, I really want to be an architect.’ I think he’ll welcome it.”
