Iran war makes Middle East peace prospects better long-term

“I think the Iran war makes this a better shot in the long run; probably riskier in the short term because we don’t know the outcome,” Dimon told Palantir executive Mike Gallagher. conference held in Washington DC
According to Dimon, the real change is the convergence of interests among regional powers. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the US and Israel all want permanent peace, he said, adding that Persian Gulf states in particular have shown a willingness to move in that direction.
“The attitude is not the same as it was 20 years ago,” Dimon said. “They all want it.”
Dimon, who heads the world’s largest bank by market value, tied his analysis directly to the economy, arguing that the foreign direct investment that has flowed into the region for years would dry up without stability.
“They can’t let their neighbors launch ballistic missiles at their data centers,” he said.
