Explosive thrown at house of Congress booth agent’s family at Payyannur in Kerala; no damage reported

The alleged hurling of an explosive device at the house of the family of a Congress stall agent in Payyannur, Kannur, Kerala, on Monday night has raised fresh concerns about political violence in the region.

The alleged attack allegedly targeted VV Kamalakshi’s house near Ramankulam in Vellur around 10.15 pm. The device hit a billboard in front of the house and exploded, preventing any damage to the building or vehicle in the building. No injuries were reported.
