Extend Midday Meals to All Junior Colleges

Hyderabad: Telangana Gazetted Young Lecturers Association has demanded that the midday meal scheme, which is being implemented on a pilot basis, be extended to all government colleges in the state.

“Almost a month has passed since the universities reopened and the scheme is being implemented in only a few colleges,” said the association’s state president Dr Vaskula Srinivas and state secretary Koppisetti Suresh. he said.

The union also made an online presentation to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, urging the government to immediately resolve the pending issues of 2023 batch assistant lecturers and issues related to government colleges.

They said that despite the positive verdict of the Telangana High Court, the implementation, including escalations and other issues, was delayed.
