Family of Prince Andrew’s accuser claim ‘victory’ over title loss | Royal | News

Virginia died by suicide in Australia earlier this year, and her posthumous memoir will be published next week.
Following Andrew’s decision, Virginia’s family said: “We, the family of Virginia Roberts Giuffre, believe that Prince Andrew’s decision to renounce his titles is a vindication for our sister and her survivors.
“This decisive action is a strong step forward in our fight to bring Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s child sex trafficking network to justice.”
Adding that they want more precautions to be taken, the officials said, “We also believe that it is appropriate for King Charles to remove the title of Prince.”
Sun on Sunday she previously disclosed an email to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in which she said, “We’re in this together.”
This email was sent three months after Andrew claimed to have cut off contact with Epstein. In a 2019 interview with Emily Maitlis for the BBC’s Newsnight programme, Andrew claimed that she cut off contact with him in December 2010.
It was also revealed that the email was sent a day after the infamous photo of Andrew posing with Ms. Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell was first published.
