Fan arrested after allegations of racist abuse against Bournemouth player Antoine Semenyo during Liverpool game
A 47 -year -old football fan was arrested after Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo’s team had been racially exploited during the match with Liverpool.
Mersexide police, Liverpool suspect on Saturday in a match in Anfield was arrested on suspicion of a racial aggravated public order crime.

Liverpool vs Bournemouth match commander Chief Inspector Kev Chatterton said: “Mersexide police will not tolerate hate crime in any form.
“We take events like this very seriously, and in such cases, we will look for football orders against those responsible with the club.”
“There is no place for racism, and it is very important that anyone who witnesses such a crime to report it to the commissioners or the police, so that we can take the necessary precautions as we do this evening.”
Premier League champions spokesman said on Friday: “Liverpool Football Club is aware of the allegation of racist abuse against Bournemouth against Bournemouth.
“We condemn all kinds of racism and discrimination, it has no place in society or football.
“The club cannot make any more comments because it is the subject of an ongoing police investigation, which we will fully support, as allegedly allegedly.”
Semenyo scored two goals in the second half and Liverpool pulled the level of Bournemouth before 4-2 wins.
