Trump ‘struggles to close umbrella’ as concerns continue over his health | World | News

Donald Trump appeared to be trying to close the umbrella in yet another viral moment.
The incident occurred Friday afternoon as he was boarding Air Force One from Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, en route to his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
Trump walked up the stairs to the jet under stormy skies, but appeared to have trouble closing his umbrella as he approached the plane’s doors.
The US President chose to abandon the umbrella altogether, throw it aside and enter the cabinet, as he had done before in October.
The moment went viral, with many people questioning why she couldn’t cover it up on her own.
One wrote: “Trump impressively demonstrates how stupid he is with even small, insignificant gestures. He can’t even close an umbrella and leaves it to the Secret Service.”
Another said: “Donald Trump He becomes the subject of ridicule after a video showed him walking away without even closing his own umbrella before boarding the plane.
A third added: “Trump leaving the umbrella for someone else to close because he couldn’t do it himself is a perfect example of what he did to Iran.”
A fourth commented: “Classic Trump: He couldn’t close the umbrella himself so he left it for someone else to handle. Same thing he did with Iran.”
Talks between the United States and Iran continued in Pakistan over the weekend, days after a fragile two-week ceasefire was declared.
The White House confirmed the direct nature of the talks, which were a rare example of high-level participation. Iranian state television reported that the talks continued in Islamabad as of 1 a.m. on Sunday.
Donald Trump claimed that the US had begun clearing mines in the Strait of Hormuz “as a favor to countries around the world”.
Iran’s minesweepers are also “lying on the seabed,” the US president said in a post on the Truth Social app.
He added: “All they have done is threaten to have a ship ‘sinked’ by one of the sea mines, while 28 of their mine-clearing boats lie at the bottom of the sea.
“We are starting the process of cleaning the Strait of Hormuz as a favor to countries around the world, including China, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany and many others. Incredibly, they do not have the Courage or Willpower to do the job themselves.”
