Farmer left fearing for his life after arsonists target him and his Filipino tenants in ‘racist hate campaign’

A farmer and the host in Ballymena were afraid of his life after he targeted him and the Kundakçılar himself and his tenants ‘Hate Campaign’.

“ I wasn’t sure what he meant, but when I got out, I found the vehicles burned, six vehicles were burning.
“ There was a wonderful pandemonium and panic because we didn’t know the house burned, we didn’t know what happened. It was just chaos.
“ We were sure that we were attacked by the tenants living in the property, they are foreign national tenants from the Philippines.

Mr. Carson said that an online campaign aiming at himself and his tenants began in June after the allegations that a girl’s sexual assault was claimed by Romanian young people.

One of the tenants who did not want to give their name told PA that they slept on Sunday night, where their roommates knocked on their doors and talked about fire.
‘I thought the house was burning, there was a fire in the house, but I went out and saw the cars burned, they looked higher than the fire from the house’ they said

‘We were scared if the car explosion.’
They continued: ‘We live here in peace. We don’t know why they attacked us.
I love living here, the people here are very kind people.
‘I came to work here. We pay taxes, our goal here is to go to work to get a better future for our family. ‘
Sinn Fein Mla Philip McGuigan described the event as ‘absolutely ugly’.
He said: ‘This is a continuation of embarrassing, bad and understandable racist attacks flying against the majority of people and communities that meet and embrace diversity.
‘This racist attack should be condemned by everyone with the most powerful terms, we must stop together and show strong leadership.
‘Racism has no place in this community, and I would address everyone who had information about this attack to bring to the police.’
