A multi-agency manhunt is underway for a 22-year-old suspect accused of a violent interstate crime spree that included highway shootings and a violent standoff with police near the FIFA World Cup at Arrowhead Stadium.

The FBI’s Kansas City field office announced a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Oscar Sanchez-Munoz, described as a White and Hispanic man weighing approximately 184 pounds.

He is 5 feet 8 inches tall, has brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on his right forearm.

Authorities are sternly warning the public that Sanchez-Munoz should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

Sanchez-Munoz’s capture stems from a spate of violent incidents in both Kansas and Missouri.

A state warrant was issued for his arrest Tuesday after he allegedly shot into a car on June 11 in Wyandotte County, Kansas.

In addition to the criminal release for the firearms charge, Sanchez-Munoz also has an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault in the same county with $100,000 bail.

Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) officials said they believe Sanchez-Munoz is the prime suspect in all five shootings that occurred Tuesday night on Interstate 70 in Kansas City, Missouri, just a few miles from Arrowhead Stadium, the site of several FIFA World Cup matches.

One person was killed in the shootings, another was seriously injured, and several others are expected to recover, including an Uber driver who was shot in the leg while driving fans to the World Cup match between Argentina and Algeria, Fox News reported.

The Kansas City shootings led to an intense overnight firefight at a home in Independence, Missouri, which ended in a fire, according to police.

After the flames were extinguished and the home was deemed safe by fire personnel Wednesday morning, investigators along with K-9 units and Missouri State Fire Marshals searched the burned property thoroughly but were unable to find Sanchez-Munoz.
