FDDI Graduates Showcase High-Fashion Innovation And Craftsmanship

Hyderabad: Nearly forty-one graduate students from the Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) presented their latest design collections on Monday at Solasta, a platform showcasing fashion, footwear and leather product designs. FDDI Fashion Design School President Dr. “Each collection represents months of research, experimentation and craftsmanship that prepares our graduates to make a meaningful contribution to the global fashion and lifestyle industry,” said Vikash Godha.
The show featured works from three different academic schools, including 31 students from the School of Fashion Design, eight from the School of Footwear Design and Production, and two from the School of Leather, Lifestyle and Product Design. Each segment introduced collections ranging from apparel to footwear to leather lifestyle products. The students’ works were presented in front of industry professionals, academics and media representatives.
In its statement, the institute described the event as “a platform where emerging designers present their collections in front of industry professionals, academics and media representatives.” It also positioned the show as a direct interface between graduate students and the design industry.
