FIFA Nora Fatehi fee: How much did Nora Fatehi charge for her World Cup 2026 performance?

Actor and singer Nora Fatehi turned heads with her high-energy performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony event held in Canada on Friday. He took to the stage along with music producers WajDream and Sanjoy to perform the tournament anthem and received widespread attention online as videos from the event quickly gained traction on social media platforms.

Wearing a bold red-cut outfit and showing off her signature wavy hairstyle, Nora impressed fans with her dynamic dance routines and stage presence. His show, which featured a large group of dancers, created one of the most talked about moments of the ceremony.

The celebrations spread across North America, with singer Katy Perry headlining a separate launch event in Los Angeles on June 12. The star-studded line-up also included international artists such as Anitta, Future, Lisa, Rema and Tyla.

Magnificent Opening Ceremonies in Host Countries

Mexico City’s opening ceremony featured performances by global stars Shakira and Burna Boy, who delivered the first live performance of the tournament’s official anthem, “Dai Dai”. Other artists on the bill included Alejandro Fernández, Belinda, Danny Ocean, J Balvin, Lila Downs, Los Ángeles Azules and Maná.

Meanwhile, Toronto hosted another huge celebration featuring Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Eliana, Jessie Reyez, and Michael Bublé.

With 48 teams participating, 2026 is the largest FIFA World Cup in history. The tournament will end with the final on July 19.

There Will Be a Historic Halftime Show at the FIFA World Cup Final

For the first time in its history, FIFA will stage a Super Bowl-style halftime show during the World Cup Final at New York’s New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium). Madonna, Shakira and BTS are among the artists confirmed to headline the event. The show is curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and produced in partnership with Global Citizen, with proceeds supported by the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.

Did Nora Fatehi Receive a Performance Fee?

According to media reports, Nora Fatehi and some other artists participating in the FIFA World Cup opening events do not receive direct performance fees.

Reports indicate that FIFA covered all expenses associated with the event, although the artists were not paid an entry fee. These include premium travel arrangements, accommodation, choreography, stage production, technical equipment, lighting and other logistics costs.

Industry reports indicate this marks a departure from previous World Cup events, where performers occasionally received appearance fees or talent-related compensation. However, for the 2026 tournament, FIFA’s focus appears to be on covering production and operational costs rather than paying artists directly for their performances.
