Fire Breaks Out at Tuni Railway Station in AP, Extinguished

Tunisia (Andhra Pradesh): A small fire broke out at Tuni Railway Station in Kakinada district, but it was quickly extinguished by emergency teams. According to the railways, the fire was caused by a pile of decommissioned station nameplates stored on the terrace on Wednesday afternoon.
However, there was no injury or material damage. “The old station nameplates, which were replaced with new ones, were left aside on the terrace. (Small) fire broke out and smoke was noticed, after which the fire brigade was informed and the fire was extinguished within a short time,” South Central Railway Zone Public Relations Officer (CPRO) A Sridhar told PTI. He said the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has detained a mentally unstable person for investigation into the incident. Additionally, the CPRO said that there was no disruption in train services at Tuni Railway Station.
