Fire Reported at Russian Oil Depot After Ukrainian Drone Strike

Moscow: A fire broke out at an oil depot in the southern Russian port of Novorossiysk following a Ukrainian drone attack, the city’s mayor said on Saturday.
Mayor Andrey Kravchenko said on Telegram: “A fire broke out in the oil depot as a result of the falling UAV debris. Many technical and administrative buildings caught fire. UAV parts also fell into the fuel terminal area.” he wrote, adding that two people were injured.
Novorossiysk handles about one-fifth of Russia’s crude oil shipments and is the country’s largest export hub in the Black Sea.
