Firefighters tackle blaze at Arthur’s Seat landmark in Edinburgh | Edinburgh

Firefighters are joining a fire in Arthur’s seat in Edinburgh.
Duman can be seen entering the sky from the fire on the Landmark Hill, a extinct volcano and beauty point in the southeast of the city center.
According to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), the fire was reported at 4.05 on Sunday. The service has four devices and expert sources at the scene, where they continue to fight fire.
Arthur’s seat, named after King Arthur, is located in Holyrood Park, which looks at the Scottish Parliament. A SFRS spokesman said: “On Sunday, August 10 at 16:00, we were warned for an open fire report in Arthur’s Edinburgh seat.
“Operations control has mobilized four fire devices and expert sources in the area where firefighters were trying to extinguish a fire that affected a large Gord.
“There is no loss reported at the moment and the crew is staying at the scene.”
A similar fire in Arthur’s seat exploded in 2019 and the fire department spent eight hours to fight the affected area of approximately 800 square meters.
