First major inquiry into NACC to probe lack of public hearings

After nearly three years of operation, the leadership of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) will be questioned for the first time in a major parliamentary inquiry into its work.
Long-standing complaints about its secrecy and the failure to hold any public hearings so far are expected to form part of the investigation by the parliamentary joint committee at the NACC.
Confirmed last night terms of reference It will include the NACC’s “approach to public reporting and communicating with the broader public about its role.”
