Indonesia Expects Palm Oil Exports to India to Exceed 5 Mn-Tonnes Mark in 2025

New Delhi: Indonesia, India’s decision to reduce import tariffs after 2025 in 2025 5 million tons of 5 million tons expected to exceed the score, he said.

However, palm oil prices have been traded under the soybean oil since April 2025 and increased its competitiveness.
“I think there is no problem with the price this year. We will increase exports to India in 2025.” He said.
India increases palm seed imports as part of its national mission in edible oils.–Palm Palm (NMEO-O) aims to expand the growing of 350,000 hectares to 1 million hectares from existing to 2025-26.
Martono said that the country bought approximately 500,000 seeds in 2023 and 2024, and Martono was expected to be 100,000 more this year. Approximately 200 palm seeds are required for growing per hectare.
Indonesia supports the export of palm seeds to India through arrangements between enterprises and can provide technical guidance considering the experiences of palm cultivation.
IPOC and Indian Herbal Oil Manufacturers Association (IVPA) recently signed a memorandum to improve cooperation in the palm oil industry. “We hope to see stable exports to India after the Memorandum of the Memorandum of Consensus,” Martono said, “India is a very important market for Indonesia.” He said.
The partnership also aims to address the consumer’s concerns about the health effects of Palm oil in India.
“Consumers in India still have misunderstandings about Indonesian palm oil. Palm oil is a very healthy oil, Mart Martono said that IPOC cooperates with IVPA against negative campaigns on Indonesian palm oil.
India is the world’s largest importer and renewable oil consumers.
