Five Injured In Car Accident Near Chinna Kraka After Attending Kurnool Bus Tragedy Funerals

Nellore: The car carrying the relatives of the Gollavaripalli family, who lost their lives in the Kurnool bus fire, met with another tragic accident near Chinna Kraka village of Jaladanki mandal around 3.45 pm on Monday afternoon.
The passengers were traveling from Gollavaripalli in Vinjamur Mandal to Vijayawada after attending the family’s last rites, when a tire burst caused the driver to lose control and the vehicle crashed into a culvert between Chinna Kraka and Hanumakonda Palem villages.
There were five persons, all from Vijayawada, who sustained injuries of varying severity. They were first transferred to Kavali Government Hospital by 108 ambulance and then to Vijayawada for better treatment.
The injured were identified as private employee Golla Krishna Chaitanya (39) – minor rib injuries; Suncha Sumalatha (42) — serious head and knee injuries, reported critical; Driver Varri Srinivas (62) – hip injury with swelling; Pulipati Naga Mounika (26) — minor hand injury; and Nallabotu Bhanupriya (39) – minor bruises.
Jaladanki police visited the spot, registered a case and started investigating the cause of the accident.
This mishap further deepened the pain of relatives who were mourning the loss of Ramesh, his wife Anusha and their two children in the Kurnool bus tragedy.
