Making headlines today is news from one of Perth’s major hospitals; A former senior cancer doctor at Sir Charles Gairdner hospital has been arrested after police found him allegedly in possession of child abuse material.

Peter Charles Swift, 68, was arrested on Tuesday after police searched his multi-million dollar property in Dalkeith.

Swift was head of nuclear medicine at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and was previously a consultant nuclear physician at Princess Margaret Hospital.
