Food Safety Squad Flags Hygiene Lapses at Secunderabad’s Garden Restaurant

The team found housefly infestations, poor sanitation, uncovered and unlabelled food, cross-contamination risks, unhygienic refrigerators, improper storage practices and pest control, lack of mandatory records such as food handlers’ medical certificates and water analysis reports.

Officials said necessary measures have been initiated under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006.
