Forecast of rain, winds in parts of Maharashtra from April 20

Unseasonal rains in recent weeks damaged crops in several parts of Maharashtra, followed by a rise in temperature, and a rickshaw driver reportedly died of heatstroke in Akola. The Prime Minister’s Office has issued a forecast for winds and thunderstorms in parts of the state between April 20 and April 22.

The Chief Minister’s Office said in a tweet that weather conditions may change in many parts of Maharashtra in the coming days. Windy rain is expected between April 20 and April 22.
