Foreign Secretary Misri wraps up U.S. visit with talks to deepen nuclear ties, explore LPG exports

In his meeting with US Energy Secretary Chris Wright, Indian Foreign Minister Vikram Misri discussed new areas such as coal gasification and LPG exports, as well as advancing energy cooperation with the US in the field of nuclear energy.

The Indian Embassy in the US said Mr. Misri, who completed his three-day visit to the US, focused on advancing energy security, deepening bilateral energy trade and identifying new avenues for strengthening the India-US Energy Partnership in his meeting with Mr. Wright.

“Minister of External Affairs Vikram Misri called Minister of Energy Chris Wright @SecretaryWright @ENERGY. Discussions focused on advancing energy security, deepening bilateral energy trade and identifying new pathways to strengthen the India-US Energy Partnership,” the embassy said.
