New Delhi: Foreign Minister Vikram Misri came to Kathmandu on Sunday to strengthen bilateral relations between India and Nepal. Misri, his counterpart Amrit Bahadur Rai’s invitation to Nepal on a two -day visit.
“Indian Foreign Minister Vikram Misri, Minister of Foreign Affairs, came to Kathmandu for an official visit that reflects the tradition of regular senior stock markets between India and Nepal and re -confirming its commitment to the first policy of the neighborhood,”
In a statement published on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA), “India and Nepal share strong and sincere ties in various fields of cooperation in recent years. India gives high priority to Nepal relations under its first policy.
According to the Nepal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the visit, two Foreign Minister Nepal-India will focus on various aspects of partnerships, connection, development cooperation and other mutual interest issues. Foreign Minister Misri is planned to call other high -level dignity in Kathmandu.
At the beginning of this month, the Minister of Foreign Affairs (EAM) S. Jaishankar met with a delegation of young political leaders from Nepal in the New Delhi, while discussing close cooperation and deep people between the two nations.
In an article on X, Jaishankar said, “Nepal is pleased to interact with a delegation of young political leaders with a visit to India. He discussed our close cooperation and our connections from deep people to people.”
On July 30, Misri held a meeting with the multi -party delegation of Parliament from Nepal and discussed the opportunity to expand the partnership between India and Nepal for mutual benefit.
