Two teenage girls sexually assaulted at shopping centre as 3 men arrested | UK | News

Police have arrested three men on suspicion of sexually assaulting two teenage girls in a busy shopping center in Leeds. West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Seacroft Green shopping center at around 8.45pm last night (December 30) to a report of ongoing suspicious behavior regarding males nearby.
Police intervened and located the two men and two teenage girls. Following investigations, two men, aged 38 and 44, were arrested and detained on suspicion of sexual assault against young people. A third man, 20, was also arrested today on suspicion of sexual assault and remains in police custody. West Yorkshire Police is appealing for information in relation to the alleged offences.
They said: “Investigations are ongoing by Leeds Area Safeguarding officers to support the victims and establish the full circumstances of the incident that occurred.
“Security patrols by uniformed police continue in the region.
