Former Disney actress Madison Pettis reveals NBA breakup details on podcast

Actress Madison Pettis appeared to take aim at her ex-boyfriend, Brooklyn Nets star Michael Porter Jr., claiming the couple broke up before his NBA debut because he was “a psychopath.”
During a recent appearance “In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele” In his podcast, the former Disney Channel star talked about how he relaxes with a glass of wine while watching a basketball game at home.

“I’m really into sports… but I’ll go home and watch some basketball. It helps me unwind a little bit.”

Pettis was then asked if he would be open to being a “basketball wife,” which prompted him to talk about his previous relationship.
“My ex is in the NBA now. It wasn’t when we were dating, it was in high school and college,” he began. “I broke up with him before he even got into the league because he was a psychopath.”
Pettis did not mention Porter by name, but the two dated from 2016-17, before Porter was selected 14th overall by the Denver Nuggets in the 2018 NBA Draft.

“I think a lot of athletes aren’t great partners, but I can’t ignore that because I love what they do,” he continued. “So I respect them and would love to talk to them about their passions.”
NBA STAR MICHAEL PORTER JR. SAID THAT HE PAID THE RENT WITH HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND, DESPITE HAVING A 200 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT EXTENSION.
The comments about Porter are no surprise. The Nets star has had many controversial moments over the years due to comments he has made on podcasts about dating and relationships. He said on the “Sincerely Regards Justin Laboy Show” in September that he split the rent with his ex-girlfriend to make sure she was with him “with the right intentions.”
“When you have money, as you know, it’s very hard to tell a woman’s intentions… I’ve never bought expensive gifts for a girl before this last girl, and it was so nice to do that,” said Porter, who agreed to a massive $200 million contract extension with the Nuggets in 2021. on the podcast.
“But I still wanted to know that she was with me for the right reasons. Every man in this person’s past had money. So I never wanted to feel like a girl was only with me because of what I had and what I could give her.”
