Former NFL star Chad Johnson remembers ex-Bengals teammate Rudi Johnson

Retired NFL Wide Receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, former Cincinnati Bengals teammate Rudi Johnson upsets the loss.

Johnson died on Tuesday at the age of 45 in Southern Florida.

Ochocinco and Johnson were members of the 2001 NFL draft class. Ochocinco was selected in the second round, while Johnson landed for the 2000 season in Auburn after the Southeast Conference won the attack player of the year after winning the award.

From 2001 to 2007, they continued to play with each other in Cincinnati.

Ochocinco said he had “upset” that he had no opportunity to say goodbye to his friend.

He said, “I’m a little sorry, I can’t say goodbye to a good friend,” he said. “Unfortunate. Young Rudi, Son, you will miss. I love you.”
