Former Premier League star in court over alleged XL Bully attack

A former Premier League footballer, two dogs, an XL typical and an American bulldogue in court after allegedly attacked a man.
Saïd Benrahma, who previously played as a wing player for West Ham, faces dangerously controlling dogs while living in Hornchhurch in East London in 2023.
The accusations are about a man named Luke Rehbin, who claimed to have been wounded by XL Bully, while claiming that he had been going for him during an incident near the American Bulldog’s house.
Benrahma would appear on Thursday, October 2 at Willesden Magistrate Criminal Court, but could not join because he was in Saudi Arabia.
The case was postponed and the next next to appear for a defense hearing in the same court on October 16th.
If found guilty, the penalties for having dangerously non -controlled dogs may be a prohibition from unlimited fines to imprisonment and dogs or to euthanasia of domestic animals.
