Formula 1 bets big on Las Vegas! Huge new 10-year extension will keep the sport in Sin City until 2037

The glitz and glamor of Las Vegas will be home to the world’s greatest racetrack for another decade.
Formula 1 has officially announced a ten-year extension of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which will see the Las Vegas Strip host the high-performance racing circuit until 2037.
The race was first introduced in 2023 and has become one of the most popular races on the F1 calendar. It is one of three races held in the United States, along with the Miami Grand Prix and the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.
“We are excited that Formula 1 will continue racing in Las Vegas for years to come,” Formula 1 president Stefano Domenicali said in a statement. The event has been phenomenal since its debut in 2023, quickly establishing itself as a premier destination for great racing, world-class entertainment, global business leaders, A-list celebrities and influencers.
‘It has had a strong and lasting impact on the local economy and society. We have always believed that Las Vegas will be the cornerstone of our presence in the United States, and this expansion, along with the success of recent years, strengthens our long-term commitment to this important market.
To the ‘Las Vegas Grand Prix, Clark County and [Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority] For their continued support, passion and vision. The future is incredibly exciting and we look forward to taking this event to even greater heights.’

The race takes place on the 3.8-mile/6.2-km Las Vegas Strip Circuit, where drivers pass some of the most iconic structures on the famous Sin City road.
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the opening race in 2023 and took the checkered flag again in 2025. Among these victories was that of Mercedes’ George Russell.
Last season, the all-female F1 Academy series held its first race on the track and Doriane Pin won the championship.
“Securing a 10-year extension through 2037 is a defining moment for the Las Vegas Grand Prix and a reflection of the strength of our local partnerships,” said Emily Prazer, President and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc.
‘I am incredibly proud of the team we have built in Las Vegas and our shared commitment to supporting the Southern Nevada community. We are deeply grateful to the Clark County Commission, LVCVA, our resort partners, and the broader Las Vegas community for their continued collaboration and support in bringing this event to life.’
F1 claims that the three editions of the race have ‘delivered $3.2 billion in cumulative economic impact to Southern Nevada’, thanks to three consecutive sales.
This year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix will be run on November 21. It is scheduled to be the third-to-last race of the calendar and will be followed by the Qatar Grand Prix and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
