Four killed as speeding bus rams car from behind in Nalgonda

Four people lost their lives in a horrific road accident that took place in the early hours of Sunday, July 5, 2026, when a speeding bus rear-ended the vehicle in which they were traveling at Peddakaparti in Chityal mandal in Nalgonda district.

According to initial findings, 4 people in the vehicle died at the scene, while the driver was seriously injured. Some passengers on the bus were also injured in the collision.

Due to the impact, the car was completely wrecked. Police from Chityal police station rushed to the accident scene, shifted the bodies to Nalgonda District Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured driver for treatment.

The accident occurred where the overpass construction was continuing. While traffic was diverted from a single lane, the exact cause of the accident is being investigated.
