Four militants arrested in Manipur, arms and ammunition seized

The police said on Monday, September 29, that security forces arrested four militants of Manipur’s Imphal West and the Eastern regions of the Eastern regions.
All arrests were made on Sunday, September 28, 2025. A police statement said that a banned Kangedipak Communist Party (City Meitei) was arrested from a settlement in Phayeng Ching Khunou in the Imphal West area of an active staff (City Meitei).
A 34 -year -old Angom Achou Singh, described as a rebellious rifle, was seized.

Another active squad of the banned KCP (Maoist) outfit was arrested from his home in Napetpalli in the Imphal East Region. Ngairangbam was defined as Apollo Meethei (37).
An active staff of the Impro KCP (PWG) outfit was arrested from the settlement in Khabeisoi in the Imphal East Region. MD Alam Khan (34) was defined as police.
An active staff of the Prepak (Red Army) outfit was arrested from Chanung in the Imphal Eastern Region.
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the Security Forces seized a large weapon and ammunition cache during an operation in Sangeithel Longithel Longa Koireng Crossing in the Imphal West Region.

Police, four barrel weapons, a modified sniper rifle, two 9mm pistols, four different types of magazines, 120 cartridges of different caliber, three grenades, three explosives, fourteen helmets and three bullets were seized.
