Four wanted Bihar gangsters killed in police encounter in Rohini

Four wanted criminals, allegedly involved in multiple murder cases in Bihar, were killed in an encounter with a joint team of Delhi Police and Bihar Police in Rohini, police said.
The encounter took place on the night of Tuesday-Wednesday (October 21 and 22, 2025) when the joint team launched an operation to track down the accused, who was reportedly hiding in Delhi for several days, a senior police officer said.
According to the police, the slain gangsters were identified as Ranjan Pathak, Vmlesh Mahto, Manish Pathak and Aman Thakur; these were all residents of Bihar wanted for heinous crimes, including multiple murders and extortion.
The police officer claimed that during the operation, the suspect opened fire on the police team, resulting in retaliatory action that left four people injured.
He added that they were taken to a hospital in Rohini where doctors declared them brought dead.
Police sources added that the ringleader of the gang, Ranjan Pathak, was running an organized crime network in Bihar and neighboring states.
