Dallas flights resume after radar and communication outages hit air traffic controllers

The telecommunication outage caused the Federal Aviation Administration in Dallas to lose radar and communication in the afternoon Friday, September 19, which led to flight suspensions at the region airports. Dallas flights were stopped in front of the city before some operations continued after 15:30.

The radar cut affected both Dallas Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth international airport operations. Air traffic controllers suffered full system failures during telecommunication deduction.
