French Montana, rapper and fiancé of Dubai’s Sheikha Mahra, once faced assault allegations and survived shootings
Two have been detected since 2024 from mosques to luxury restaurants in Dubai and Morocco.
However, there were times when the rapper was on headlines for all wrong reasons.
French Montana once faced allegations of sexual assault
Born in Karim Kharbouch, French Montana was the subject of serious claims before. As reported by the independent, it was claimed that he was sexually assaulted while being neutralized.
The lawsuit filed on behalf of a plaintiff, defined as Jane Doe, called Montana, partner and several commercial institutions as accused.
The complaint claimed on March 28, 2018 that Doe had “sexually assaulted, sexually harassed”.
Later, the developments revealed that the case was solved from the court. As reported by The Blast, the case accused Montana and the partner of the business partner of “attack and battery, sexual battery, emotional distress intentionally neglect, negligent recruitment, control and retention and neglect”.
However, court applications remain uncertain whether the issue was solved only days before the hearing and whether there is any financial agreement.
Shooting events
In January 2023, during a music video shoot for French Montana’s “Igloo” song in Miami Garden, Florida, a shot near a Soul Food restaurant called Licking. According to La Times, ten people were injured, including rapper Rob49.
The rapper then wished his condolences and said he was “in the wrong place in the wrong time” during the incident.
In 2003, the French Montana was hit behind the head in an incident, which he described as a “installation” in connection with his rising success and presence in his old neighborhood.
According to Hiphop, the French 133th Study on the street and the third Street in Bronx was shooting. The two armeds approached him and caused the rapper to be subjected to a non -fatal weapon injury to his head. The shooting was killed by friendly fire from the other attacker.
