IIT-M Launches ‘AI For All’ Initiative In Hindi

What happened? IIT-Madras-led digital learning platform SWAYAM Plus has launched its flagship ‘AI for All’ initiative in Hindi, strengthening its commitment to inclusive and accessible AI education.

Six free online courses will enable students across the country to gain basic AI skills in the language of their choice. Courses do not require prior AI or coding knowledge. Basic digital literacy and interest in learning are sufficient.

The last date to register for all six courses using the link is January 26 – https://swayam-plus.swayam2.ac.in/ai-for-all-courses. For clarifications or to request a callback, students can write to pmu-sp@swayam2.ac.in.

IIT-M Dean (planning) Prof. R. Sarathi said the initiative is designed to remove language barriers, deepen conceptual understanding and expand participation in AI education across regions and academic backgrounds. Each course is between 25 and 45 hours. Students can opt to get a paid certificate by taking the online proctoring test, which can be taken anywhere,’ said Prof Sarathi.
