Govt Moves to Fast-Track ₹8.81 Lakh Cr Investments; Appoints ‘Single Point of Contact’ Officers

Hyderabad: The state government will appoint ‘single point of contact’ officials in relevant departments to expedite the foundation of Rs 8.81 lakh crore investments for which memorandums of understanding (MoUs) have been signed in the last two years.
Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao on Sunday issued the order to appoint a ‘single point of contact’ officer in each department for the task of monitoring MoUs, especially those related to investments. Responsibility for the implementation of these MoUs is delegated to the SPEED —Smart, Proactive, Efficient and Effective Delivery — department.
A real-time control panel is created to coordinate and monitor relevant companies and departments according to the order.
