Fury vs Joshua: What next for heavyweight division – including Moses Itauma, Derek Chisora & Anthony Joshua?

One of the sport’s most exciting prospects is looking to take on a big name role in the next heavyweight division.
21-year-old Briton Moses Itauma scored an impressive fifth-round victory over Jermaine Franklin in March to become the first fighter to stop the American in 27 fights.
Itauma’s team now has to decide what the next step will be for a young fighter who has so far proven the hype to be true.
His win over Franklin kept him as the number one challenger for the WBO title; So if his team feels he’s ready, the next fight could be Wardley vs. Dubois.
A learning curve seems like the best option for Itauma as he awaits his world title shot. Itauma noted that one option is veteran contender Filip Hrgovic, who will face Dave Allen in May.
In other news, Richard Riakporhe is the new British champion and Derek Chisora appears to be making a U-turn on his retirement plans.
There are plenty of options for the British heavyweights, with Frazer Clarke and Jeamie ‘TKV’ Tshikeva both taking losses on the Fury undercard in entertaining fights.
