Future of Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s fly-on-the-wall TV series revealed after it emerged they’re not legally married

The BBC has renewed Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s fly on the wall series for a third season.
EastEnders star Joe, 44, and Sort Your Life Out presenter Stacey, 36, have cashed in on their family brand and have already filmed two seasons of their own reality TV show, Stacey And Joe.
And now the Beeb has greenlit a third season, which will continue to follow the couple’s blended family in their day-to-day lives.
It followed their lives at Pickle Cottage with their children; Rex, six, Rose, four, and Belle, three. Stacey is also mother to Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships, while Joe has another son, Harry, from his ex in 2007.
The six-episode second season featured baby Belle’s first day at nursery, Zach’s 17th birthday, and family ski lessons.
The third series is believed to follow Joe’s efforts to build a fishing lake at their luxury rural property.

The third series is believed to follow Joe’s efforts to build a fishing lake at their luxury rural property.
The Daily Mail has contacted the BBC for a comment.
Stacey and Joe told the BBC: ‘If you’ve watched the first series you’ll know we’ve been talking about the lakes for a long time… It feels a bit surreal to finally see it come to fruition.
‘We’re learning as we go along with the juggling act of family life, so we’ll be as surprised as everyone else to see how it all turns out!
‘Thank you so much to everyone who has watched Stacey & Joe so far. We’re so grateful and can’t wait for you to see the next series.’
The renewal of the series comes as Stacey was recently forced to defend their relationship following rumors of a row over the couple’s marriage.
Their wedding was celebrated at their £1.2 million home with family and celebrity friends.
Opting to have an intimate ceremony at home, the couple chose not to televise their wedding or participate in any magazine shoots.
Rather than selling photos or profiting financially from the day, the couple posted on social media asking organizations to donate to Grief Encounter, a bereaved children’s charity.
But there was one thing about Stacey and Joe’s wedding that wasn’t legally binding.
The couple tied the knot at their home Pickle Cottage in Essex in July 2022, but they still haven’t made the marriage official.
Stacey said at the time that they planned to register their marriage, but three and a half years later, TV’s golden couple still hasn’t made their marriage official.
The bombshell came just two weeks after the television personality was grilled about her affair with Joe, 44, who was spotted without her wedding ring.
And now the Beeb has greenlit a third season, which will continue to follow the couple’s blended family as they go about their day-to-day lives.
A source told The Sun: ‘They always thought about doing the legal part but with six kids and busy diaries they just couldn’t get around to it, life got in the way.
‘Stacey and Joe clearly knew their garden wedding was illegal and were upfront about it.’
This news may come as a surprise to fans who watched the couple on BBC reality show Stacey & Joe.
Stacey also has lucrative family fashion ranges with Asda and Primark.
An insider said: ‘The fact that they have invested in a perfect image, the complete fraud of companies and even TV executives will definitely attract attention.’
