Gabby Logan has revealed she was ‘horrified’ when her 20-year-old daughter admitted cheating on her ex-boyfriend in her memoir.
The 53-year-old presenter spoke on HELLO!’s Second Act Podcast with Ateh Jewel about honesty, motherhood and her 25-year marriage to former rugby player Kenny Logan, 54.
In her book The First Half, Gabby revealed that she cheated on her boyfriend with a German tennis player while she was at university.
The broadcaster said he wanted to be honest about his infidelity so that his children, Lois and Reuben, could also accept that he had made mistakes in his life.
Gabby said Lois read the book and was ‘horrified’. She said: ‘I cheated on a boyfriend and he said: ‘I can’t believe you did that.’
‘I said: “It’s really important that you know that I made mistakes because you can make mistakes and come back from those things.”

Gabby said she really misses her children now that they’ve left home.
Elsewhere in the interview, the TV star opened up about her 25-year marriage to Kenny.he survived prostate cancer.
Kenny was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2022 and After successful surgery to remove his prostate, he was declared cancer-free.
He said: ‘We are each other’s biggest fans. ‘He was never jealous of any success I had in my career, he always really encouraged me and that was great.’
Gabby also talked about the recent loss of her father, football player Terry Yorath.
Born in Cardiff, Terry played a big part in the Leeds team under Don Revie that won the First Division title, before playing with Coventry, Tottenham and Bradford.
He died in January, aged 75, after a short illness.
The night before he died unexpectedly, he read a message he had received from a childhood admirer reminding him of her kindness; He said he cherished that moment as tributes poured in after his death.
The broadcaster said he wanted to be honest about his infidelity so that his children, Lois (pictured) and Reuben, could also accept that he had made mistakes in his life.
He said: ‘I think it’s really important to learn to love and lose, to learn to experience all the emotions.
‘You have to go through times that are a little harder to get through and learn to come through on the other side.’
