Ikkis’ first day collection…

As reported by Sacnilk, Ikkis, which released on Thursday, January 1, earned Rs 7 crore on its opening day. In terms of occupancy, the average strength of Ikkis was 31.94%, reaching 12.09% in the morning shows, 35.29% in the afternoon shows, 46.77% in the evening shows and 33.62% in the night shows. Continuing with this trend, the film is expected to witness a slight decline in run rate on Friday but perform well on Saturday and Sunday and take the weekend collection in the range of Rs 15-20 crore.

How did Agastya Nanda beat his other contemporaries?

Agastya Nanda is among the only Gen Z actors to have opened above Rs 5 crore with positive reviews. Agastya’s The Archies co-star Vedang Raina made his theatrical debut with Alia Bhatt’s Jigra. However, the film opened to only Rs 4.55 crore. Similarly, Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani’s flop Azaad opened with just 1.50 billion rupees. Ibrahim Ali Khan and Suhana Khan’s films were released digitally to negative reviews. Rohit Shraff’s last film Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari opened at Rs 9.25 crore but he was not the protagonist of the film. This makes Agastya Nanda greater than his contemporaries.
