Cyberabad police imposed prohibitory orders around all National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 exam centers within the commission limits on June 21 to ensure smooth and peaceful conduct of the exam.

In a notification issued on Friday, June 19, Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh invoked Article 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and banned assembly of five or more people within a 200-metre radius of all NEET examination centres.
The police also ordered that all photocopy (Xerox) and internet centers located within 100 meters of the exam venues remain closed during the exam period.
The restrictions will be valid from 6 am to 6 pm on June 21 at all NEET-UG 2026 exam centers falling under the purview of the commission.
On-duty police officers, military personnel and the Home Guard, Ministry of Education flying crews and funerals were exempt from the prohibitory orders.
The order was issued in order to protect public order and peace, to prevent disturbances and not to create any obstacle to the conduct of the exam.
Police have warned that anyone found violating the restrictions will be prosecuted under the relevant legal provisions.
