Bridget Phillipson has spoken passionately about her desire to improve support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), but her proposed reforms are “really about money”, Geordie Greig told Laura Kuennsberg on Sunday (February 22).

This week Labor will publish plans to reform the SEND system. It is reported that the plans determining children’s support rights will be reviewed within the scope of changes to be determined by the minister of education.
