George Clooney gives Travis Kelce relationship advice on podcast

George Clooney and Travis Kelce compare notes on romance.
In the episode of the program on December 3 “New Heights” podcastTravis and his brother Jason Kelce welcomed the Hollywood actor as guests.
Clooney talked about his drama-free marriage to Amal Clooney, prompting Travis to ask a question about their long-term relationship.
“You claim that you haven’t had a fight with your wife for 10 years. Are you lying?” Travis asked with a smile.

Clooney playfully replied, “No, I’m not lying,” before turning the spotlight to the NFL tight end. “Travis, should we ask you the same question?”
Travis laughed as he revealed that his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift was just as smooth.
“It’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right. I’ve never been in an argument,” Kelce said.

Clooney explained why he and Amal did not feel the need to argue, saying that he and the famous human rights lawyer did not see any value in fighting.
“Neither of us are going to win the argument, so why go in?” he stated.
He added that age gives him perspective: “Man, I’m 64. So what am I going to fight about at this point? You know? I met this incredible woman who … is beautiful and smart and represents all of the most important things I believe in in the world. And I can’t believe how lucky I am. So what am I going to fight about?”

Clooney later encouraged the Kelce siblings to follow his lead, joking that they too could model their relationship after his example.

Travis literally didn’t hesitate to take notes.
“I’ve just been taking notes this whole time, big guy. You don’t even know,” he told Clooney.

Clooney proposed to Amal in April 2014, and the couple married five months later in Venice, Italy. Three years later, in 2017, the Clooneys welcomed twins Ella and Alexander.
Clooney, meanwhile, is not only keeping drama out of his marriage, he’s determined to keep it away from his kids, too.

The actor previously doubled down on the reason he and Amal decided to raise their twins away from Hollywood.
In an interview with EsquireClooney admitted that Los Angeles was never the right environment for Ella and Alexander.
“I was worried about raising our kids in Los Angeles, in the Hollywood culture. I felt like they would never get a fair shake in life,” she said.

The Clooneys moved to the quiet French countryside; It’s a place where, as he clearly puts it, “they don’t really care about fame.”
“I don’t want them walking around worrying about the paparazzi. I don’t want them to be compared to other people’s celebrity kids.”
The couple has homes all over the world, including Italy, England and a French estate located about 30 minutes from Château Miraval, the winery owned by friend Brad Pitt.
